Just outside Valréas village, in the middle of the Rhone Valley and surrounded by vast vineyards, lies this Villa , a beautiful Maison de Maître. The house in Art Deco style from the twenties offers a gite where you can enjoy some rest. In this part of the Provence the sun shines an amazing 300 days a year and the large garden with pool offers various possibilities for spending all day outside. If you feel like getting active after a day of lazing out in the sun, you can throw a ball on the boules track at the side of the Villa. The region is perfect for walks and bike rides. You have several mountain bikes at your disposal that can be used for wonderful cycling trips, for instance, across the Mont Ventoux. There is a nine hole golf course nearby for golf lovers. Valréas lies 50 km to the northeast of Avignon. Nyons (12 km), Vaison la Romaine, Avignon and Orange are well worth a visit. The sun, the lavender fields and vineyards, the delicious Provençal food and the atmospheric markets in the surrounding villages are the ingredients of a fantastic holiday.

Date of stay: June 2023Heerlijk ruim, en koel en zo heerlijk rustig. Wij kijken van ons balkon op een heerlijke tuin, waarin wij kunnen wandelen. De mensen zijn heel aardig en zeer bescheiden. Kortom een heel fijn onderkomen.

Date of stay: July 2020Sinds kort nieuwe eigenaren. Je ziet aan de tuin dat er afgelopen jaren weinig tot niks aan onderhoud is gedaan. Appartement ziet er keurig uit. Eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en doen hun uiterste best. Zwembad is perfect, voor ons jammer dat de andere gasten kleine kinderen hadden, maar dat is persoonlijk. In de omgeving is niet zoveel te doen. We kregen nog een kleine verrassing toen we in Nederland waren. We werden gebeld dat er een schilderij miste. Wij hadden heel dat schilderij nooit gezien. Ze zouden wel contact opnemen met Belvilla..... Achteraf bleek het schilderij achter de radiator te zijn gevallen.

Date of stay: July 2009wij hebben een week vakantie doorgebracht in Villa St. Cloud. Een uitstekend vakantiehuis met zeer zeer vriendelijk en behulpzame eigenaren. Het huis was perfect op orde, voorzien van meer dan alle gemakken, op tafel een gevulde fruitschaal, de lavendel rijkelijk geurend in huis, een geweldige boekenkast, perfecte geluidsinstalatie voor mooie muziek waarmee je je echt waande in de Vaucluse!! De omgeving is prachtig, wijn, lavendel en zonnebloemvelden, dagelijks wel een (brocante)markt in de buurt, de Mont Ventoux, zelfs de Pont D'arc is goed te doen om te bezoeken. Kortom, een absolute aanrader voor rust en echte Franse sfeer.
