The charming Château de Lapeyrouse is located in the Rhone Valley. You will have a superb view of Mont Colombier and the valley. In this region ideal for water sports, you will find Lake Bourget (the largest in Europe, 15 minutes away), Lake Annecy (30 minutes away) and Lake Leman (60 minutes away). The city of Aix Les Bains (20 minutes) is renowned for its thermal baths and its 18-hole golf course. In winter, you can also practice various mountain sports in the ski resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand (one hour).

This apartment is on the second floor of the chateau and is accessible via the lift. This is one of the most beautiful gites in this new series of top-of-the-range chateau apartments.

Geneva and the airport are an hour's drive away.

Pets are allowed if they do not disturb other residents. Outside the apartment, they must be kept on a leash.

Het is een geweldig kasteel. Je woont echt in het kasteel. Erg positief. Ook het zwembad is heel fijn. Echter ervaren wij ook nadelen, het is erg gehorig. Op zolder is het erg warm. We missen een privé tuin of terras. Toch wegen de nadelen niet op tegen het verblijf.

Prachtig kasteel, mooie tuin eromheen, en een prachtige omgeving met voldoende mogelijkheden voor sport, actie en sight seeing. Frank is een uitstekende gastheer hij is servicegericht en geeft nuttige informatie. Over ons appartement tijdens de zeer warme week waren de slaapkamers boven te warm. De slaapkamer achter de keuken verdient die naam niet. De airco-units in de slaapkamers moesten aan blijven, omdat de temperaturen anders rond de 30 graden bleven. Dat betekende een oorverdovende herrie 's nachts. Ondanks dat hebben we een positief gevoel overgehouden aan onze vakantieweek daar.

Goed. Was een prima geoutilleerd appartement. Top appartement ligt wel achter de kantelen zodat je moet gluren voor het mooie uitzicht over het Rhonedal. Verder waren er wel heel veel Nederlanders.

Fijne kleinschalige accomodatie, met 7 appartementen in een kasteel. Gezamelijk zwembad. Heerlijk rustig en voldoende bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Prachtig uitzicht.

Das Schloss, der tolle Garten, die Ruhe, die schöne Aussicht war einfach toll.Die Wohnung war für unsere Erwartungen nicht sauber genug, insbesondere die K࿌he war schmutzig und das Geschirr zum Teil nicht sauber.

Das Schloss und die Wohnungen sind in einem liebevoll restauriertem Zustand, die Wohnungen sind wunderschön eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet. Die Poolanlage ist sauber und ansprechend groß.

Het is leuk om eens in een echt kasteel te verblijven. Spannend voor kinderen om via de kelder (via gangetjes en trappen) naar het zwembad te gaan. Mobiele airco in de slaapkamer was een uitkomst tijdens het verblijf met hoge temperaturen. Ook inh de omgeving is genoeg te doen (bijvoorbeeld: Aix Le bain, Lac de Bouget en Annecy). Carrefour in Seyssel is van binnen heerlijk fris als het buiten warm is en je vindt er alles.

The area of Chateau la Peyrouse is beautiful and if you like walking there are some spectacular views to be enjoyed. The apartment (Du Soleil) has a nice bathroom and comfortable lounge diner. The bedrooms are sparsely furnished so don't expect to be able to hang up any clothes. We found rodent (lois, looks like a small squirrel with big eyes but is related to the dormouse) droppings in one of the kitchen cupboards. The caretaker came and cleaned it out. She is very pleasant but doesn't speak english. There is a nice, small swimming pool, shared amongst the apartments, lovely gardens with a beautiful view. We were visited by about 5 bats who came in the window one evening. Beware of the extra costs: 15 euros for 1 towel, 1 sheet, 1 pillowcase, 1 duvet cover and 75 euros for cleaning.
