Explore the town centre of Bayeux 18 km away for shopping from your favourite brands or for getting a hang of the culture and the practices. Omaha Beach, Gold Beach lies a drive away depicting the history of Normandy invasion and an impressive war memorial here. Pay homage to the braves by visiting the Normandy American Cemetery, 6 km away. City of Bayeux nearby has a larger war museum, displaying the history of war, pictures, artillery and other war exhibits.
In the private illuminated garden, you can plan a special dinner with your loved ones and enjoy the ambience until the wee hours. To keep you comfortable in cold winter day this house has a heating facility to help you maintain the temperature of the house. Park your car on the property alongside the gîte. Hello,First of all, welcome to Normandy in the Bessin region. The cottage is located a few km from Omaha Beach and the US cimetery. You are in a historically very rich region. You are also at the very beginning of the Bessin and Cotentin marshes. This marsh area offers you beautiful walks in the heart of abundant nature.In terms of amenities, you will find in Trévières, a small village at 3 Km, every thing you need (Bakeries, butchers, Gas station, press store, mini market, car work shop, pharmacy, doctors...). There is also a new mini market in Formigny at 1 Km).

Date of stay: May 2023A nice and clean home in a secluded area in Normandy. Best suited for a family with one or two kids at max. The bedrooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, is suitable for preparing simple meals. Enough space to sit inside, or if weather permits use the outside area. Note that closest shops are 10min drive away, for larger supermarkets it's required to drive to Bayeux (20min). Close to Omaha beach - about 10 to 15 minutes - and also the other beaches are well within reach.

Date of stay: September 2021Huisje was netjes en alles was aanwezig wat ik nodig had. Ook de omgeving was top (grond waar het huisje opstaat is netjes en met een fijne parkeerplaats). Het enige wat jammer is was de wifi. Er stond “goede wifi”, hieronder versta ik dat je netflix kan kijken. Dit kon echt niet met de sterkte van de verbinding.

Date of stay: August 2020Een heel prettig huisje om te verblijven. Veel privacy, fijne tuin erbij, mooie omgeving. Goede bedden, smaakvol ingericht, zeer complete keukenuitrusting voor zo'n klein keukentje. We hadden een heerlijke vakantie hier.

Date of stay: July 2020 - August 2020Op 500m bleek een autostrade te lopen met constant lawaai op de achtergrond. Daarom willen we dit niemand aanraden als je rust zoekt!!! Hoe mooi de omgeving ook is.
