As a couple or with friends, you'll love this pretty, tastefully decorated flat on the second floor of a small 18th-century town house in the historic centre of Bayeux, close to the cathedral, particularly quiet and with parking on the magnificent Place De Gaulle with its hundred-year-old lime trees, where the house overlooks.
Bayeux is 9km from the sea and close to the sandy beaches of the D-Day landings. Ideally located, it's within walking distance of all the tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. For those who enjoy swimming, water sports, sailing, golf, paragliding, hot-air ballooning, hiking, horse-riding, bicycle hire (cycle paths), fishing, walks in the Cerisy forest or in the Cotentin nature park, visits to the many monuments in the department, castles, abbeys, etc. Within an hour's drive, you'll be at Mont Saint Michel, Deauville, Cabourg or in Suisse Normande for some great walks.
You can also enjoy the courtyard in front of the house. The residence has a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee machine, for a good start to the day! Parking is available at the house, and you can enjoy relaxing moments in the nice garden.

Bayeux is a historic town best known for its beautiful cathedral, and of course the famous Bayeux tapestry. This tapestry, which is over 70 meters long, depicts the Battle of Hastings in 1066, in which William the Conqueror conquered England. The tapestry is more than 900 years old and is considered one of the most important works of art from the Middle Ages. In addition to the tapestry and the cathedral, there are other attractions in Bayeux, such as the Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy, which highlights the history of World War II in Normandy. Of course, you will also find plenty of nice cafes, restaurants and shops, all within walking distance of the accommodation.
