Description

Charming and comfortable, newly renovated in 2018 small country house in the green Normandy countryside, very close to the famous D-Day beaches. The bright, light-flooded living area is ultra-modern and very comfortable at the same time! On the one hand a lot of glass and metal, on the other hand beautiful beamed ceilings, natural stone walls and a cozy fireplace corner. The southern terrace in front looks out onto a large natural property that offers plenty of exercise for the kids and possibly your four-legged friend.
Brucheville is a small hamlet on the border between the two Norman departments of La Manche and Le Calvados. In a few minutes by car you can reach the huge, white sandy beaches that have gone down in world history and lively bathing and harbor towns.

Activities nearby: beautiful sandy beaches, endless hiking trails and many historic castles and mansions determine the landscape of the Cotentin peninsula, known for its mild climate, green vegetation and fertile soil. In addition to the well-known Norman apples and cider, you can look forward to buying all kinds of vegetables and of course fresh fish and processing them into delicious dishes in your well-equipped kitchen. On short excursions you can experience the lively harbors of Barfleur and Granville or drive to the popular seaside resort of Saint Vaast La Hougue. History buffs will definitely want to visit the Landing Beaches and the museums dedicated to the events of the war. The Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg offers a fantastic insight into the underwater world for young and old. A visit to the world-famous Mont St. Michel should of course also be part of the holiday program.

It was a lovely place with a beautiful garden. Enough space for our children to play football. The house was nice and very clean. Kitchen was very complete and the big dining table was pleasant! We recommend this place. The owner gives you a warm welcome. Thank for the stay!
