Deep in the south-west of Germany lies the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. In its centre, surrounded by valleys, gorges and mountain ridges, lies the climatic health resort of Todtmoos. Holidays in the Black Forest are at their best in Todtmoos! The house is a cosy Black Forest house and is situated on a hill right on the edge of the forest, with a wonderful view over the Hintertodtmoos valley. You will find absolute relaxation on the spacious sun terrace. The holiday home has its own entrance with adjoining spacious hallway and staircase area, spread over two floors. The landlord lives in a completely separate and independent area on the ground floor of the house and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. The six bedrooms are designed in a rustic wooden style, with four rooms having their own bathroom. The open-plan kitchen with integrated dining room offers an excellent view over the entire valley thanks to its full-length window front. The spacious living room is equipped with a small built-in bar. All in all, this Black Forest house guarantees pure relaxation for young and old.
Included in the visitor's tax is the "KONUS guest card", which entitles you to free use of buses and trains throughout the Black Forest (signposted) and free (or discounted) admission to numerous tourist facilities.

Date of stay: July 2019Aangekomen op 1000 meter hoogte, staat deze fantastische ski-lodge met zijn fel gekleurde balkonnetjes, vol met zomerse bloemen. Het huis staat pal naast een alfastweg, waar dagelijks maar een aantal wandelaars of auto's langs komen. Bovenaan deze weg, bevind zich een mooie waterval wat slechts een paar min lopen is. Vanaf de ingang van het huis. Het huis beschikt over 4 verdiepingen, waarbij de entree zich een trap omhoog bevindt. Pech als je op de zolder slaapt, dat is nog wel een klim. Op de begane grond wonen de beheerder met zoon. Deze hebben ook een gedeelte op de 1e verdieping in gebruik, maar is wel afgesloten van de rest. Betreft kamer met badkamer verhouding is het huis goed, douches wel wat klein en weinig luxe, maar de waterdruk is goed en het is redelijk schoon. Wij hadden wel wat aanmerkingen aan de keuken, waar wij met 10 personen al erg beknopt en krap konden zitten. Ook de inhoud met borden/bestek etc is goed, maar betreft kookpannen/onderzetters/ovenschalen is het simpelweg te minimaal en te weinig voor 19 pers. Desondanks is alles wel in goede staat. De woonkamer is ook wel erg klein om een grotere groep in de houden, het meubilair ook ouderwets. Vanuit dit huis is het circa 15 min wandelen om in het middel van het dorpje te komen, waar zich een tal van winkeltjes en cafe's bevinden. Veel van onze groep hebben diverse routes gewandeld, van een paar km tot aan rond de 15, waar deze omgeving in de zomer uitermate geschikt voor is. Betreft uitstapjes of even boodschappen halen, is het toch wel echt nodig om de auto mee te nemen. Er zit een rodelbaan in Todtnau, Zwitserland op 1.5 uur rijden, Steinwasen Park en andere kleine uitjes in de omgeving. Al met al, een heerlijke omgeving om lekker van de natuur, en van elkaar te genieten.

Date of stay: July 2015Het vakantiehuis is super goed gelegen, op wandelafstand van een openluchtzwembad die je gratis kan bezoeken met je toeristenkaart. Je kan vanaf het huisje starten met een wandeling of fietsroute. Grote winkel op 3min met de auto.
