The Baltic Sea resort of Damp always offers just the right thing: from relaxing walks on the beach and wellness in all its facets to exciting children's adventures and action activities on land, on water and in the air. Since everything is centrally located in Damp, you can discover the entire place on foot or by bike. There are also various other places around Damp that are worth a visit. These include Kappeln, the Viking settlement of Haithabu and the cities of Kiel and Flensburg. The first port of call for families in Damp is the extensive sandy beach. Here, children can dig in the sand to their heart's content and race the waves while their parents make themselves comfortable in the sand or in a beach chair. Kites can also be flown in some parts of the beach. In addition, the "Viking Golf" mini-golf course is located directly on the beach. For a break in between, there are delicious restaurants, small shops and cosy cafés along the beach promenade.
For those who prefer a more orderly swimming experience than in the open sea, the Entdeckerbad is the place to go.
