In the early evening people meet on the promenade or on the 290 m long pier. Activities nearby: Excursion boats depart from the pier in Boltenhagen and head for the island of Poel, Wismar and various places on the Schleswig-Holstein coast. In the Butterfly Park Klütz you can marvel at 140 different species of tropical butterflies. Due to the large free-flight hall with the lush tropical flora, a visit is independent of the weather. The Hanseatic cities of Wismar and Lübeck also invite you to go on adventurous day tours and those who like to travel by bike will find a variety of options.
