And there are several walks in the vicinity. But also staying a day at home is pleasant. Even eating at home is easy to do because of the excellently equipped kitchen. For the inspiration there are cookbooks, the groceries can be found nearby. A bakery is located in the village and on the road to Rethymnon you will find several supermarkets. In the adjacent village of Pigi is an authentic Greek butcher who cuts the meat fresh for you. This villa offers everything you could wish for a holiday: a piece of paradise on earth!

Date of stay: May 2015Wij hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad in Villa Ithaka. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij waren met 6 volwassenen en 2 kleine kinderen (5 en 1jaar), het huis bied voor ieder wat wils. Erg prettig dat het terras afgesloten kan worden met een hekje zodat de kinderen niet zelfstandig naar het zwembad konden. Het huis ligt wat afgelegen maar dit was voor ons geen probleem omdat we 2 auto's hadden gehuurd. Bakker op 10 min loop afstand, grote supermarkt 10 min met de auto zo ook rethymnon. Genoeg bezienswaardigheden. Eigenaar erg vriendelijk zo ook het contactpersoon op locatie. Twijfel je om dit te boeken, niet doen, wij zouden zo weer gaan!

Date of stay: May 2014Als je een villa wilt die van alle gemakken is voorzien, niet gelegen is in een druk toeristisch gebied, met voldoende ruimte bij het zwembad en terras, met een prachtig uitzicht op een olijven boomgaard en in de verte de zee, met een mooi aangelegde tuin, voldoende privacy, lekkere bedden, supermarkt en bakker op een kwartiertje rijden etc etc ......dan zit je hier op het juiste adres!! Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad met mijn bejaarde vader, mijn 2 broers en mijn man en door omstandigheden waren we genoodzaakt veel bij het huisje te zijn maar dit was zeker geen straf!! De foto's van de villa kloppen met de werkelijkheid, je krijgt zeker wat je ziet!!! DOEN ?
