This two bedroom holiday home, very comfortable for a small family or for a group of 4 people, is located in the Tuscan mountains in San Casciano in Val di Pesa. It includes a shared swimming pool with sun loungers where you can relax in the summer after returning from walks or excursions.
This holiday home presents us with a very beautiful view of nature. There are many restaurants serving local food. The city center also contains many grocery stores which are only 5 km away. Firenze to 24 km, San Gimignano to 37 km, Siena to 59 km, and Montecatini Terme to 68 km must be visited at least once.
This cottage has a very comfortable living/dining room to gather everyone for a pleasant gathering. In the open kitchen you can cook a delicious meal and enjoy it on the furnished terrace. In the evening you can have a barbecue party with wine in the garden. There is enough space for children to run around and play. Parking spots are available.
Florence Airport is 37 km away and public transport is 5 km away.

On arrival, you will find a bottle of our housewine and an information booklet about the surrounding area to welcome you. The owner organizes guided wine-tasting tours with visit to the cellar and a short walk through the vineyards. On the property , just a few steps from the cellars, you can visit the ancient San Lorenzo Chapel (XIIe Century) built in the Romanesque style. There is a restaurant at 1km from the appartments right on the vineyards. Here you can eat every night and there are often special offers combined with the farmhouse. Nearby: Pieve di San Pancrazio ( beautiful little church in Romanesque style XI e C.), Borgo Luccardo ( small village composed of a group of ancient houses - possibility to make nice walks in the country. Restaurants : Excellent and payable Tuscan kitchen in San Casciano and surrounding area. You will find a list of adresses we recommend in your apartment. Children's activities : adventure park (survival) at 2 km from Castelvecchio. For all information, you can contact the staff of Castelvecchio. Activity on request: exclusive cooking classes with a small vocabulary of Italian cuisine and useful phrases: 'Learn to read an Italian menu and choose which dish you prefer to eat!'

Date of stay: August 2019Prettig ontvangen door Francesco met flesje wijn en olijfolie vanuit het eigen bedrijf. Kort daarna ook welkom geheten door Stefania de eigenaresse. Spraken beiden goed Engels. Het huis is prachtig gelegen. Ons terras lag wel veel in de zon en hoewel er een pergola is, toch best heet. Maar veel verkoeling gevonden bij het zwembad. Dat ligt heerlijk met veel grote bomen eromheen. De eigenaresse ging al snel met vakantie waardoor we alleen in de eerste paar dagen een wijnproeverij konden plannen. Dat ging uiteindelijk niet door door persoonlijke omstandigheden van de eigenaresse. Dat was wel erg jammer. Je komt toch niet voor niets op een wijnboerderij af. Maar helaas het is augustus dus iedereen (ook elders merkte je dat) op vakantie, ongeacht of het hoogseizoen is en je met toeristen werkt. Jammer dat niemand anders het ook over kon nemen. Daarna ook weinig persoonlijk contact meer (alleen via app, wel snelle reactie altijd). Dat vond ik ook jammer. Het persoonlijke sfeertje van een agriturismo wordt toch wel gemaakt door de mensen die het verhuren. Ook geen gezamenlijke activiteiten die werden georganiseerd (zoals bijv. een proeverij). Maar verder was het hier heerlijk. Dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden maar toch rustig. Leuke restaurants in de buurt, weinig toeristisch maar des te leuker daardoor en geweldige natuur. En het huisje was ook heel comfortabel met veel sfeer. Daardoor een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Date of stay: July 2019Deze agriturismo voldeed volledig aan de beschrijving. Hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaresse. Kleinschalig waardoor heerlijk veel privacy, maar ook contactmogelijkheden. Dichtbij Florence, maar ook San Casciano heeft gezelligheid, historie en een goede supermarkt te bieden. We troffen een hete week, het zwembad en fantastische tuin brachten verkoeling.

Date of stay: April 2017 - May 2017Een ruim appartement op de begane grond met openslaande deuren naar het terras. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is prachtig en de omgeving met zijn olijfgaarden, wijngaarden en bossen is zeer rustig. In de omgeving kun je 's avonds reeën en wilde zwijnen zien. Er worden op het landgoed uitstekende wijnen gemaakt en er is een wijnproeverij. De eigenares, Stefania, is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Florence en Sienna zijn dichtbij. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad.
