This apartment with its incredibly hospitable owner is spread over 102 hectares between 370 and 870 meters above sea level, with about 50 acres of forest. At this height you have an overview of the beautiful Ligurian coast and on the opposite hill with binoculars you can see wild mouflons from the terrace!
The simple but fully equipped apartment is located in the forest, on the first floor in the main building, in the unspoilt valleys of the Gromolo River and under the tops of the impressive Roccagrande and Treggin.
The building is located in the middle of two valleys, Torrenti Buggine and Gromolo, under the tops of Roccagrande and the Treggin mountain. In this area you will find the lake Bargone, so for an adventurous and sportive holiday in nature you are in the right place! You can also visit the 5 Terre from this location. A nice day by train or boat.
You can have breakfast and dinner on request. As the owner of the house will do the shopping for you, you must indicate this in advance. You can also use the shared barbecue for a nice dinner outside.
NEWS road works in 2018 !! Important work has been done on the unpaved road towards our structure. The road is much more accessible now, although it is still a naturalistic road. In any case, other than the 4 x 4 cars also other kinds of cars can get to us now.
Walter, the owner, can possibly pick you up at the beginning of the dirt road on request, or he will wait for you at the main house in the center of Valle del Gromolo, at the time of the day indicated in your booking.
If you have to be accompanied or picked up during your stay, Walter will try to help you as much as possible.

Tips Owner
If you want a nature holiday, you like walking, living and doing outdoor activities, like no noise except the rushing of the stream, our position and our proposal is ideal. The distance of about 5 km of gravel road can not be faced by any car, if the characteristics of your car are not ideal for this location, Walter is available upon request to pick you up and take you to the top of the dirt road (with costs). He is also willing to do your groseries so you don't have to worry about this on you holiday. Arrive in daylight hours is advisable. For more information upon your arrival you can always give a call to Walter, the owner. If you want to wander around this area, closed shoes are recommended. And for trekkers at night a small torch too!

Date of stay: August 2015Vorige week hebben we genoten op de berg van Walter (eigenaar) in een appartement (zie de foto's op de site) op Sorgenti del Gromollo. Momenten van rust, stilte en genieten, maar ook een belevenis op zich. Een prettig ontvangst door de eigenaar op zaterdag in de namiddag met een lekker ontvangstdiner 's avonds. Walter heeft ons uitleg gegeven over het gebruik van verschillende voorzieningen (de gezamenlijke keuken, het scheiden van het afval, respect voor de natuur, het kunnen drinken van het water boven op de berg en de verschillende wandelroutes). Jammer dat hij echter dinsdagmiddag de berg verliet en we de rest van de week alleen op de berg waren (samen met een ander echtpaar en gezin zij verbleven in de bungalows). Het idee dat de eigenaar in de buurt is, is toch wel prettig wanneer er bijvoorbeeld iets gebeurt of als je iets nodig hebt (praktisch of vragen hebt etc.). Het zwembad hebben we niet gebruikt aangezien het water er enigszins groenig uitzag.. De onverharde weg naar boven vraagt om een degelijke auto (tip neem bij aankomst al enige boodschappen mee naar boven) en pleeg een telefoontje naar de eigenaar wanneer je, op een andere dag bijvoorbeeld, weer naar boven wilt rijden. Dit is geen overbodige luxe wil je niet een tegenligger (wandelaars, mountainbikers, paarden of een andere auto) tegen willen komen.. Ben je op zoek naar een plek om te onthaasten this is the place to be! Geen Wifi, televisie, maar rust, prachtige natuur, mooie wandelroutes (tip neem goede wandelschoenen mee). Gromollo een plek met een geweldig uitzicht en een prachtige omgeving!

Date of stay: August 2014Als je wilt genieten van twee werelden is dit de juiste plek. Enerzijds was er de weldadige rust op een adembenemend mooie plek de agriturismo ver van de bewoonde wereld. Anderzijds de indrukwekkende Ligurische kust met plekken als Cinqe Terre en Portofino binnen handbereik. Mensen die deze agriturismo willen boeken, moeten zich ervan bewust zijn dat ze een goede auto nodig hebben om de agriturismo over het onverharde pad te bereiken. De chalets behorende bij de agriturismo zijn van harte aan te bevelen. Wel is de uitrusting wat betreft bestek en servies erg summier. Ondanks deze aandachtspunten een fantastische en voor de kinderen avontuurlijke vakantie gehad.
