Set 500 m above sea level, this 2- bedroom holiday home in Sesta Godano is a wonderful experience of nature and mountains. It has central heating, terrace, and barbecue and is ideal for a family of 5 with children to enjoy.

Nature lovers can go for a walk in the Valle del Vara Nature Reserve. The dense forests and beautiful old towns make this place beautiful. Head to the sea at 15 km and spend time enjoying the waters and the sun. You can also find a ferry port at 20 km. Restaurants are at 1 km and supermarket at 2 km.

All facilities for a comfortable stay has been arranged. The living room is spacious and has a double sofa bed and TV. The bedrooms have a double king size bed and single bed and the central heating will keep you cozy. A children's bed and high are also provided. Parking is also arranged. The view of the mountain will relax you from the terrace as you enjoy the barbecue.

Genova Airport is at 70km and public transport is at 1 km. A motorway is 12 km.
Consumption costs for gas refer exclusively to the possible switching on of the heating (EUR 4 per m3) for the months of April, May, September, October.

- In the village itself are plenty of nice restaurants with local traditional dishes, perfectly safe environment for children - Ideal for mountain biking and walking to visit surrounding villages - At only few miles in Sesta Godano you can see a famous Roman Bridge - On Saturday the weekly farmers market in Sesta Godano - In Airola you have a famous work of the Flemish Jan van Hemessen - Take a boat to admire the Cinque Terre from the water, and for sports enthusiasts there is the "passeggiata dell'Amore" from Riomaggiore. The walk of love, which goes from one village of the 5 Terre to another. - 2 km away is a river for bathing, canoeing, horseback riding, rock climbing, skiing (winter) at and for fishing, hiking, biking. There are waterfalls, white water rafting (rafting), Delta Plano and skydiving. - In a few minutes you're on the famous seaside 5 Terre e on the Gulf of the Poets where famous writers like DH Lawrence and Lord Byron spent their summers. - Lerici and Porto Venere are the two picturesque towns par excellence, an absolute MUST - An hour from Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Genoa are also not much further, to do good for a day trip!

Unieke locatie in een oude borgo. Alle huisjes staan er tegen elkaar geplakt en je kan er enkel in via een lange trap. Een goede conditie is dus aangeraden. Het uitzicht op het dakterras is fantastisch. Bij heldere hemel moet je er echt 's avonds naar de sterren gaan kijken. We zagen zelfs vallende sterren tot grote vreugde van onze dochter. In het huis is alles op het eerste zicht netjes. De keukenvloer kon iets beter. Het tweepersoonsbed was een ervaring apart. Telkens mijn man of ik zich bewogen zat de ander precies op een trampoline. Na 3 nachten gaf ik het op en ging in het zetelbed slapen. De uitrusting in de heel kleine keuken kon beter. Geen aardappelmes aanwezig, geen deftig broodmes (het brood uit de locale winkel is altijd ongesneden), geen afwasmiddel, geen peper of zout. Je moet dus vanalles gaan kopen als je er zelf wil koken. Maar dat zijn details en wij passen ons gemakkelijk aan. Anderen kunnen hier wel over struikelen. Doe ook een paar keukenhanddoeken mee, want er hangen enkel twee sponsen handdoekejes. Toiletpapier mag je ook meenemen of gaan kopen, want er is geen reserve. In het dorp beneden is een kleine supermarkt die bijna alles heeft wat je nodig hebt. Op het plein kan je gezellig vertoeven tussen de locals met een drankje. Zin in een lekkere en heel goedkope maaltijd, dan ga je naar het restaurant schuin over de supermarkt. Je ziet amper dat het een restaurant is, maar het eten is er super en spotgoedkoop. Met 4 aten we er uitgebreid voor een 50 euro. Rio zelf ben je in een half uurtje rondgestapt. Klein maar mooi. De uitzichten zijn schitterend. Sesta Godano heeft op zich niet veel, maar er is wel een oude Romeinse brug. De afstanden naar grotere steden zijn goed te doen. In Brugnato kan je gaan zwemmen in de rivier. Heerlijk! Het was de tweede keer in deze streek en we zijn opnieuw niet teleurgesteld.

Appartement is op een mooie lokatie gelegen. Veel ruimte, groot dakterras. Alleen te bereiken via trappen. 2km verderop zijn winkels en restaurants. Rivier en stuwmeer waren in de zomer helaas droog. Echt toeristisch 20 km verderop in bescherm gebied Cinque terre. Mooie natuurlijke omgeving met olijfbomen, wijngaarden, bossen. Wel flink klimmen. Het appartement zelf was mooi en modern ingericht. Vriendelijke beheerder die alleen Italiaans spreekt.
