The owners run a century-old estate producing organic oil and wine, which has won several awards for its excellence.
In the estate's cellar, you can taste the products and buy them at production prices.
The old town of San Gimignano and its famous medieval towers can be reached in 30 minutes by car along a very picturesque road. A short distance away is the town of Volterra with its ancient center of Etruscan origin, rich in history and set in a beautiful and unique natural landscape.

Wonderful Lajatico: small medieval village that saw the birth of Andrea Bocelli. In summer it transforms the central square of the small medieval village in a wonderful stage of art, good food and good wine. We are in nothing of the Pisan Hills and suddenly you open this small square full of life! Restaurant Nello, Enoteca Cri Cri and Ferretti Gelato (ice cream completely natural, a real treat for young and old!) The Castle of the Vicars of Lari: only castle, of Valley of the Castles VALDERA, remained intact, to visit contact i Viaggiatori del Tempo!!! you will be charmed. The night market of Chianni: typical products (Cinta Senese, cheese, jams) and local crafts, the village is medieval, very nice, the restaurant Locanda del Gallo! Maximum vote! Date of stay: September 2018Prima ontvangst,alleen zat er iemand anders in 1 van de 2 appartementen die wij gehuurd hadden. Eigenaresse kwam er aan en wij mochten in haar huis voor 2 dagen (incl 2 dagen gratis ontbijt) daarna mochten we in het besproken huis. Of de fout bij Belvilla of bij haar lag hebben we in het midden gelaten. We waren immers op vakantie.

Date of stay: July 2018Boeking via Belvilla verliep zoals altijd zeer vlot. We waren dan ook zeer verwonderd toen we bij het vakantiehuis aankwamen, dit reeds bezet was door een zestal Denen en we meer dan een uur moesten zoeken naar de eigenaars. Bleek toen dat de Denen het verkeerde vakantiehuis toegewezen hadden gekregen. In die tijd hadden zij echter bijna al het badlinnen gebruikt en hebben we moeten argumenteren om vers te krijgen. Het huis zelf en de kamers waren ruim en vrij net. De vaat moesten we echter opnieuw doen want niet echt proper.
