Migliorini is an enchanting old 'Borgo' situated in a little chestnut forest, well sheltered from the wind and with an abundance of springs. It is located in Piteglio at an elevation of 650 metres. It was formerly owned by the Migliorini family. Located along the historic route from Modena to Montecatini, a village was created here with various inns where travellers and pilgrims could spend the night.

Date of stay: July 2018 - August 2018Mooie authentieke streek. Kleine pittoreske dorpjes, leuke steden (Lucca!). Vakantiehuisje is gelegen in een authentiek Italiaans dorpje met nog zes huizen bewoond door de oorspronkelijke inwoners. Andere huisjes zijn bewoond door vakantiegangers maar zonder dat je het gevoel hebt in een toeristisch oord te zitten.

Date of stay: July 2018Bij aankomst onmiddellijk moeten schoonmaken, huisje is eerder voor avonturiers dan voor zonnekloppers. Geen huisje om in de dag te blijven luieren. Mooie omgeving en voldoende activiteiten in de buurt (+- 1u rijden).

An hidden gem tucked away in the beatiful Abetone mountain, it provided a marvellous frame for our wedding which we hosted here in mid-June. Blessed by fabulous weather, our guests raved about their stay in this cabin and were just mesmerized by the beauty of it all. The cabins are built with ex-novo materials salvaged by the hamlet's owner, who descends from a long line of illustrious artists and put his very soul in the restoration of this hamlet by scattering pieces made by his ancestors over the centuries. If you are not too fussy about things being polished, are a nature lover and rustic is your style, look no further. Great value for money.

Date of stay: June 2016Wofür man hier vor Ort 50.- für eine Endreinigung zahlt ist ein Rätsel. Die Wohnung war von vorne bis hinten nur schmutzig. Wäre ansonsten echt ok... auch der Pool war ein Sammelsurium von toten Käfern etc. im Wasser.

Date of stay: May 2016we hebben genoten van de tips van de eigenaar, die ruim de tijd neemt om bij binnenkomst uitvoerig te vertellen over wat er allemaal te zien en te beleven is in de omgeving. Heel vriendelijk! De cv werkt niet dus kost veel tijd om zelf aan de slag te gaan met hout. De koelkast is geen koelkast maar een vrieskast, is doorgegeven aan eigenaar

Date of stay: September 2015Het verblijf bevindt zich in een bos. Zeer rustig, afgelegen van de drukte. Enkele steden zoals Pistoia, Lucca, Firenze,.... zijn op minder dan een uur te bereiken met de wagen. De gastheer is een zeer warme man die je met open armen ontvangt.
