Tips Owner

Visit Siena! There is much to see including the Piazza del Campo, Siena Cathedral, the Abbey of San Galgano and the cathedral of Siena. In the town of Asciano you can visit the castle Gallico and Abbey Monte Oliveto Maggiore and the museum Cassioli. Crete Senesi: Take the road from Monteroni d'Arbia to Asciano. At every turn you have a breathtaking view! The colors change depending on the season. The sunset is beautiful.

Eerst het verkeerde zandpad genomen ( google gevolgd i.p.v. beschrijving) en bijna de bodemplaat van de auto vernield. Verder goed ontvangen door de dame.

De bewegwijzering naar het vakantiehuis was wat verwarrend omdat er eerst een aanwijzing kwam naar de locatie die uiteindelijk niet de toegang was naar het huis. De juiste oprit (vanaf Siena komend) was iets verderop op de weg. Bij toeval reed de beheerder achter ons, waardoor we vervolgens wel de goed entree hadden. Maar verder mooie locatie, prachtig uitzicht, mooi appartement, prima zwembad. Goede uitvalsbasis voor een tochtje naar mooie plaatsjes en fijne wandelingen.

Goed opgevangen bij aankomst, ook al waren we een uurtje te vroeg. Basic appartement, maar meer dan voldoende, je zit toch meer buiten op terras of aan het zwembad of bent op citytrip naar één van de steden in de buurt. Omgeving top zicht vanuit het zwembad op Siena onbetaalbaar! Terrassen zijn wel niet echt privé, je kijkt echt wel bij de andere bewoners binnen. Dit door de zeer open omgeving op het domein.

Zwemmen met uitzicht op Siena, veel buitenruimte, ruim huisje. Inrichting sober maar wel goed genoeg. Inventaris zeer compleet. Mooie omgeving met zowel mogelijkheden voor wandelingen en mountainbiken als voor culturele uitstapjes. Routebeschrijving kan beter, het huisje is moeilijk te vinden. Eenzame ligging.

Wij brachten 14dagen door in het vakantiehuis"Angel",echt prachtig gelegen boven op een heuvel met een facinerend zicht over de streek.Wij huurde bij aankomst op de luchthaven een auto die wij voordien hadden gereserveerd(wel aan te raden)!Hiermee maakte wij dagelijks uitstappen naarAsciano,Siena,Arezzo,Montepulciano,Cortona,Colle di val D'Elsa,Grosseto,Volterra,Follonica(kust)en als laatste Lucignano.Echt één voor één wondermooie plaatsen om te bezichtigen,vele vergezichten,adembenemende historische monumenten en resten van de Etrusken en de Middeleeuwen.Echt een aanrader voor wie houdt van rust,ontspanning en cultuur.Voor ons was het alvast een echte voltreffer!
