The old pilgrim road "Via Francigena" runs through Lunigiana. This is a well-known and historical route that takes you back to a magical medieval atmosphere of pilgrimage, churches and rivalries between villages. You can also explore the rugged mountains of the Apennines and the steep marble mountains of the Apuan Alps.
