The hamlet has always been well protected from enemies by the fortress walls. In 1224, the St. Francis visited Anghiari. On June 29, 1440 there was a major battle in Angiari. Leonardo da Vinci made a painting of it. Until today one looks at this paintingg because it is mysteriously disappeared.

We are doing a 3 weeks tour, so we have stayed in different kinds of accommodation and this is our favorite, the little house is fresh, our terrace has an amaizing view. <br/><br/>The swing pool is nice, but too deep, not very child friendly.<br/><br/>Internet is very fast… our new favorite place for “home” working<br/><br/>I would add a little machine for watter ( still and sparkling) that would help to stop guests.....
