Nearby is the famous Vezzolano Abbey, an early Christian church, Chieri with its textile museum and its Gothic-style cathedral. Date of stay: July 2022 - August 2022Tophuis! Wij hebben het 2 weken uitstekend naar onze zin gehad. We huurden zowel de bovenverdieping als de benedenverdieping (die is iets koeler!). De host en zijn vrouw zijn heel aardig en attent. Ze geven je informatie over de bezienswaardigheden in de buurt, de markten en supermarkten. Er stond fruit en gekoeld water klaar. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. De keuken is prima uitgerust met ruime koelkast en vriezer, en een vaatwasser. De bedden zijn groot en sliepen heerlijk. Het is prettig dat alle ramen zijn voorzien van vliegenhorren en luiken. De temperatuur bleef overdag aangenaam ondanks de 39 graden buiten. s avonds kunnen alle ramen open en koelt het huis lekker af zonder dat er vliegen of muggen binnenkomen. In de tuin is veel schaduw en kun je in de hangmat of op een ligbed liggen of eten en spelletjes doen aan de tafel. Bij mooi weer is het uitzicht op de heuvels en de bergen prachtig. Bij zonsondergang kleurt de lucht van roze tot paars. Kortom: aanrader!
