In this beautiful holiday home with outdoor swimming pool and large garden you can enjoy the natural beauty of Sicily undisturbed. With a 120 square meter living space and two separate bedrooms, a tastefully furnished, high-quality holiday home awaits up to six people. Relax on a lounger in the garden, take a swim in the pool and mainly enjoy the view of the slopes of Etna. If you are happy to go on vacation, go hiking or even a challenge with a canyoning tour along the Alcantara River, then Gold is the place for you. Just make a short walk to the waterfalls of the river, not far away you can come very close to a dreamlike place. A few kilometers away you can even swim in a bay. Your holiday home is a few kilometers outside the picturesque town of Castiglione di Sicilia. From the garden you have an impressive view of the walls of the old town, which goes on a hill. If you choose to walk it about two kilometers of a long path, you cross the Alcantara River on the way, which runs practically behind your garden. In addition to historic sites, you will also find everything you need for your daily needs and a few restaurants in the village.

Activities in the area: The area around the River Alcantara invites many activities. These include rafting trips and canyoning, walking and mountain biking. Not far from your holiday home offer some waterfalls to you spectacular photo moments such as holiday reminders. The most famous motifs await you to the "Gole Dell'Alcantara" (about seven kilometers). The gorges are up to 20 meters deep and four to five meters wide. The river park with shallow bath zones southeast of Francavilla can be reached via a parking space. You can enter the gap through a footpath or even with the elevator. Another highlight is a visit to the Etna nature park. There are now good hiking trails, some even lead to the main craters. From Refugio Etna Nord you can also go to the Observatory with off-road buses

Fijne accommodatie, met goede voorzieningen. Koelkast was gevuld toen we 's avonds aankwamen. Prachtige ligging in het groen met uitzicht op de Etna.

Wat een heerlijke week hebben we gehad! Deze plek heeft echt alles: uitzicht op de Etna en op Castiglione di Sicilia, een prachtige tuin met heerlijk zwembad, fijne grote handdoeken, en het plaatsje Taormina niet te ver weg. Op basis van de weinig foto’s wisten we niet zeker wat we konden verwachten, maar het heeft ons aangenaam verrast! Adina en Rosario zijn hele fijne gastmensen en hebben ervoor gezorgd dat we een zorgeloze week hadden. Zeker een aanrader!!

Zeer aan te bevelen, fantastische vakantie gehad! De plek aan de voet van de Etna (die je in donker gewoon prachtig lava ziet spuiten) is magisch. Taormina en Siracusa makkelijk met auto te bereiken. Zwembad is heerlijk. Heerlijk rustige plek en Adina de Hostess en haar vader zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Het huis waar wij in zaten is schoon, heerlijk compleet (keuken, koelkast, badkamer) en wordt nog verder uitgebouwd. Ik ben benieuwd naar het uiteindelijke resultaat??

Von den besonders freundlichen Mitarbeiter wurden wir herzlich mit einem kleinen Willkommensbuffet empfangen,kompetent eingewiesen und haben uns dann sehr gut in der toll ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung erholen können, Es war ein ideales Quartier für uns als fünfköpfige Familie
