Cannigione is one of the loveliest places in Gallura, in the north-east of Sardinia, lapped by the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Arzachena, in whose deep bay the port of Cannigione has always been located. A well-known holiday destination, with an advantageous central position compared to other tourist resorts in northern Sardinia and in particular compared to the rest of the beaches of the Costa Smeralda.
From the climatic point of view, Cannigione is an excellent tourist resort, being protected from the strong northeast winds. The town center runs around the Andrea Doria quay, overlooking the marina, one of the best equipped ports in the region.
