In winter, this is an Eldorado for ski lovers with beautiful alpine slopes with several lifts and groomed slopes just outside the door. Great terrain for picking berries and mushrooms in autumn. Close to the holiday apartment is Låven pub. The nearest shop is Joker Vossestrand 6.4 km away, and Voss offers services, shops, and a shopping centre. From Voss, you can take the train to Myrdal station and then continue with "Flåmsbana", the most beautiful train journey in Norway. Nearby, you will also find the fjord Nærøyfjorden, which is on the World Heritage List. The Nordic region's longest Zipliner runs from Vatnahalsen to the top of Flåms-dalen (length 1381 m, 305 m.a.s.l.). Train to Bergen, the largest city in Western Norway, take approx. 1.5 hours.
