Especially the beautiful beach promenade with the typical Portuguese pavement invites you to stroll and relax. Worth seeing is the village church "Senhora da Luz" slightly elevated above the promenade; it was built in 1874. Diagonally opposite the church is the Fortaleza, the former fortress, which now houses a well-known restaurant.
