This single-storey farmhouse near the village of Reguengo is ideal for a large family. You can enjoy swimming in the reservoir belonging to the accommodation in summer!
The typical quinta is located on the edge of the beautiful Serra de Monfuradoca nature reserve, and about 3 km from the historic town of Montemor-o-Novo. In the surroundings, you can enjoy hiking, cycling or motorcycling past castle and monastery ruins and through vast cork forests and (almost) deserted villages.
The quinta houses 3 holiday homes, each with its own entrance. All guests can use the lovely communal pool where you will find refreshment in summer. Sustainability was taken into account when renovating the quinta; the house is self-sufficient and is kept warm/cool by a heat pump. The accommodation is wheelchair accessible: the entrance is wide and the house has no thresholds. The garden and swimming pool are also easily accessible.

Date of stay: July 2018 - August 2018We werden met een kop koffie hartelijk welkom geheten door de eigenaren. De kamers waren ruim en voor 6 volwassenen en 2 kinderen ideaal. Bij volle bezetting misschien wel veel druk op de badkamer met het enige toilet. Ruime veranda en prachtige tuin met zwembad aan een doorgaande weg.

Date of stay: July 2014we zijn naar de andere locatie gebracht door Joke, op de geboekte locatie zouden we de enige gasten zijn, wat niet zo leuk is met kids van 6 en 8. zo kwamen we op een prachtig gelegen boerderij, 10 minuten over een onverharde weg, ideaal voor families die van kleinschalig, rust en natuur houden. wat een mooi plekje heeft joke daar gemaakt midden in de natuur tussen de kurkbomen en de koeien en de ooievaars. een weelde van rust en bloemenpracht. de uitkijk op het zwembad, het meer en de heuvels met de ooievaars zullen we niet snel vergeten. de gezelligheid van de bbq aan het zwembad met de andere twee families ook niet. het enige minpunt was dat, door de ruil, ons appartement niet schoon gemaakt was en echt heel smerig bleek. Joke heeft niet aangeboden om het schoon te maken en nam het schoonmaak geld voor onze eindschoonmaak ook nog dankbaar aan, dat vonden we niet zo netjes van haar. Het tosti apparaat was zo smerig dat hadden we maar buiten gezet, ook dat was pas aan het eind van de week schoon. Ik kan me voorstellen dat Joke op haar leeftijd het niet allemaal zo netjes bij kan houden, maar dat zou wel eeuwig zonde zijn van dit prachtige plekje, want een beetje smoezelig was het wel overal. daar moet je wel doorheen kunnen kijken.

Date of stay: July 2013Met een heerlijk terras en een prachtige bloementuin, het zwembad (20x8!) voor de deur in een mooie omgeving midden in Portugal - was het een fijne ontspannen vakantie. Leuke stadjes in de omgeving, Lissabon op ruim een uur afstand, het strand iets meer, maar geen probleem. Zon, rust, buiten eten, een drankje op een terras, een klooster, een ruïne, een kerk een paleis. Prima. En dan slapen op goede matrassen....

Date of stay: August 2012 - September 2012Het verblijf in Casa das Flores was heerlijk. Prachtige omgeving en goede voorzieningen. De eigenaren zijn zeer gastvij en runnen een landgoed met fokstieren en kurkeiken. Op het landgoed is het goed vertoeven en voor jonge kinderen veel te beleven. De eigenaren zijn goed geintegreerd in Portugal en kunnen je dus veel vertellen over Portugal en de cultuur. Vanuit Montemor-o-novo is een bezoek aan Lissabon ongeveer een uur rijden.

Date of stay: July 2009 - August 2009Het huis ligt vrij (wel aan een weg) en heeft een mooi groot zwembad. Ook is er een lieve hond aanwezig. Als je wilt kun je ook komkommers en courgettes uit eigen tuin gebruiken. De eigenaresse is ook erg gastvrij. Kortom, wij hebben een zeer fijne week gehad.
