This holiday home with private pool is ideal for holidaymakers wanting to explore Nîmes, the Camargue and Mediterranean beaches. The beautiful villa makes a perfect base for a restful time in a region rich in history and traditions.
Clarensac is a pretty village in the hills, 14 km from Nîmes and close to the medieval town of Sommières. It is 30 km from Aigues-Mortes and the coast. With its narrow streets and old town centre, Clarensac is incredibly fun to stroll through. The region offers beautiful hiking trails and a visit to the local market on Saturdays is worthwhile. Visit the wine cellars or take a horseback ride to the Camargue, 18 km away. You can also go canoeing in the Gorges du Gardon, 25 km from the accommodation. Le Grau-du-Roi, Montpellier and Arles are all less than an hour's drive away.
The property features a large garden with trees and flowers, a fenced pool and an attractive terrace. Please note that the owner will come by on Thursdays to water the plants and clean the pool. The accommodation features a charming and authentic interior.

Date of stay: June 2018 - July 2018De aankomst was goed. Eigenaresse zat al te wachten. Het huis was voorzien van airco, welkome aanvulling bij 36 graden in juli. Grote tuin, goed te doen met honden. Het huis is, vooral de keuken erg gedateerd en zeer oubollige franse inrichting, wat ook wel weer zijn charme heeft. Storend was de hoeveelheid meubelen in het huis, veel te veel. En toch veel privé spullen ook, dat geeft dan niet een vakantiesfeer. Daarnaast kwam de eigenaresse 2 x in de week langs. Dat de planten dagelijks onderhoud nodig hadden was logisch, maar dat je elke dag een half uur kwijt bent aan sproeien in je vakantie en verplicht vond ik niet prettig. De bloemen waren wel mooier toen we weggingen. Het huis was niet op en top schoon en had veel achterstallig onderhoud. Bedden zijn slecht
