The villa has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and internet access. The various terraces offer plenty of seating areas. At this villa you have optimal privacy.
Located in the heart of the 'Land of the Cathars'. Surrounded by the mountains of the Corbières. Close to the famous Cathar castles of Montsegur, Peyrepertuse and Queribus and close to the Spanish border. The villa is on the outskirts of the city of Limoux where great wines come from and also the Blanquette de Limoux. Limoux is a nice cosy town to visit. For example, every year a Carnival festival is organised in the city. There are also numerous interesting cultural sights, such as the Pont-Neuf de Limoux. This ancient bridge dates back to the 18th century AD. Remnants of various fortifications from the 14th century are also visible in several places in the city. The Notre-Dame de Marceille basilica is also definitely worth a visit. Limoux is a good base for a wonderful holiday in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
From the garden, you have views of several mountain ranges, including the sacred mountain Pic de Bugarach. According to 'experts', the world would perish in 2012 because the Mayan calendar ended in that year. Only at this special mountain would salvation be found. The house has air-conditioning and fiber internet facilities also available.

Date of stay: July 2023Het huis op zich is netjes, goed gepoetst. Gisteren was het hier 37 graden, ook .s nachts btoeiend heet. We merkten dat er in het huis een airco aanwezig is. De dame die ons de sleutel overhandigde zei dat de airco pas volgende week in orde zou gebracht worden, komaan zeg. Er is geen enkel muggengaas aanwezig. Dus moeten de ramen en deuen dicht blijven. The hosts are very nice and will help you with any question. For a house in this price range you’d expect better beds. The doubles are small sizes and the frame of our bed was so bad we put the matrass on the floor in the end. That did the trick and we slept fine…

Date of stay: September 2021De villa voldoet grotendeels aan de foto's en de tekst. De ligging is uniek, de rust fantastisch. Is het streekgebonden of is het de periode van het jaar maar we worden wel bestookt door muggen en andere kleine insecten die ons pijnlijk steken.

Date of stay: September 2020 - October 2020Prima ontvangst door zeer vriendelijke mevrouw. Villa is van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer ruim. Prima bedden. Drie badkamers. Uitzicht is formidabel. Zwembad blijft goed van temperatuur dankzij rolscherm. Omgeving is is bij uitstek geschikt voor wandelaars en geoefende fietsers.

Date of stay: September 2020De aankomst verliep heel vlot. Birgit is een zeer vriendelijke, joviale vrouw die duidelijk uitleg geeft bij alle faciliteiten. Er was een flesje bubbels aanwezig in de koelkast om ons te verwelkomen. Ook de hondenkoekjes werden door ons enorm geapprecieerd. De accommodatie is ruim en heeft een prachtig uitzicht. Via de tv kan je eigen shows streamen. Er was een welkomstpakket om af te wassen en de woning was proper. Dit zorgt ervoor dat je geen extra kosten moet maken. Het zwembad is groot en perfect voor de warme dagen. Het enige minpunt vonden we de kwaliteit van de bedden. Eén van de kamers op de bovenverdieping was afgesloten. s'Avonds ging hier telkens de verlichting aan. De eerste avond was dit toch eventjes verschieten. De stad Limoux vonden we zelf niet zo aangenaam. We voelden ons niet veilig. Er zijn ook weinig bezienswaardigheden. De ligging is wel ideaal om andere plaatsen te bezoeken.

Date of stay: July 2019 - August 2019Dit huis is fantastisch. Ruim, modern, goed ingerichte keuken, woonkamer en slaapkamers. En een geweldig uitzicht. Limoux is een levendige plaats, met meerdere restaurants en terrasjes. Het ligt op loopafstand, maar dan is het wel een flinke klim terug. Carcassonne is binnen een half uur te bereiken met de auto, of zelfs per trein (bij vooruit boeken voor 1 euro pp).
